Founded in 2024 in New York City by Caterina Contreras Alfaro, our company is built on a foundation of deep expertise and a passion for art. Caterina’s experience in galleries, museums, and private art dealing has shaped our commitment to delivering meticulous, personalized art logistics solutions.
Our legacy traces back to 1992, when Caterina’s family established Lucia ALFART in Mexico City. Lucía Alfaro and Gustavo Contreras founded Lucia ALFART, leveraging Lucía’s extensive experience with prestigious institutions like
the Museum of Fine Arts, the Mexican National Art Museum, and the Tamayo Museum along with Gustavo’s architectural expertise.
Their vision was to offer exceptional door-to-door (nail-to-nail) services tailored to the needs of museums, galleries, auction houses, dealers, and private collectors.
